Vertexes really don't take that long comparative to some other hacks.  Unless the vertexer runs into a load of problems with patching and exporting, that's when it starts to get slow.

Tis true, but patching as you say.. it can halt everything you've just worked on to a complete stop..

Depending what quality you want. Look at Pik, his vertex hacks are amazing and take long periods of time. And I have not seen any other hacker who's quality comes out as good as Pik. But, Beyond and Starwaffle are getting pretty close recently. Regardless, great job so far on Blaze. Defiantly a insta-download ;D

Regardless, I would understand little about vertex hacks.   To turn Mario into a Sonic character would mean accomplishing quite a great feat.

No, Pik's hacks take ages because he procrastinates LOADS.  Despite the overall process taking months, he doesn't actually develop the hack constantly during that time.  And I'm not going to debate about who makes better stuff.  They're all so fantastic it really doesn't matter.
