Want to hack the Tourney Mode.

More specifically, I want to be able to change the stock images in Tourney Mode so the ones I made show up there. What file(s) would I need to find and hack to change the stock icons?

I think you can find them here:
menu/tourn (tourn may be called diffrent) and menu2/sc_tournament(_your languagehere).
Correct me if I'm wrong, I took these from the European disc.

Allow me to shed some light for that question.  A lot of the files that are used for the Tourney game mode is inside the menu folder.

menu\common\CharaFaceTex.brres -> CSS icons
menu\common\StockFaceTex.brres -> Stock lives
menu\main\MenuRule.pac -> Rules
menu\selcharacter\char_bust_tex_lz77.pac -> Character Portraits
menu\selmap_common\Selmap_common.brres -> Stage Select Portraits

Additionally, all the contents inside menu\tournament are also used in the Tourney game mode.

I have a mediafire link with access to the files, but I see no "sc_tournament" files there. Any chance I could have a copy of the file that you have?

One question mewmaster93.  Is your Brawl ISO NTSC or PAL?  The information that I gave you is for the NTSC version of Brawl.

Did you even bother to read everything on that post?  You're making this harder than it should be. -_-

The stock lives BRRES file is stored in there.
