Everytime I try to import the .dae file this funny error occurres.


I guess it's because I don't know the settings I have to choose in 3ds max 2010 when I'm importing the file because it's different to 3ds max 8 which is used in this video. If this is true please tell me what kind of settings I have to choose.

    try using blender to import the dae...

    note you'll need to download the 1.4.1 importer
    (search it on google)
    once you see the 'terapee.com' link, click on that
    (idk if it's terapee.com or if it's taripee or whatever)
    the link starts with 't' and looks similar to that...

    but once you're there, DL the 2.6 distribution.
    (also DL Python2.6 if you don't have it...)
