Howdy,

I put Wuhu Island, Golf Hotel from Wii Sports Resort and Swordplay Arena from Wii Sports Resort (I love themes) over the three different Castle Siege pac files.  I also included a FD to Castle Siege .rel since that's a necessity.

However, when you go to load the stage it just sits there.  It doesn't do a buzzy noise freeze, but it just acts like it's loading it but just stalls out.

Am I doing something wrong?  A friend of mine's Wii has Castle Siege set up with like...a Bridge of Eldin Stage and two other stages and his worked fine.

Any help is appreciated!

Maybe file size is too large.

The number of modeldatas probably doesn't match. See, STGEMBLEM_00 only has 1 modeldata. STGEMBLEM_01 has 5. STGEMBLEM_02 has 2. Match these numbers using the technique in this tutorial: http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=9157.0 (only change the fileindex to whatever number you need)

    Also, yeah, check the filesize

*is the friend OP is talking about. Trying to clarify the question a little*

Pretty much know nothing about stages (vertexing is complicated enough). But my simplified understanding of rel files, is that they're compatibility patches for the sorts of things you just described. But we don't even know if that's possible for a stage like Siege. We just gave it a shot to see what would happen. (3 FD based stages and one st_emblem.rel)

Looking at the Siege set we were using as the example (Subspace something, switches between Delfino, Eldin, and Spear Pillar), it turned out wasn't any rel file in effect at all, all the stages were just built on top of the existing structure. So again, no way to know if the FD stuff is feasible.

I don't know if we can do something as simple as renumbering the modeldatas, because the stages don't have the correct quantity. Fixing them to work in Siege might take substantial rebuilding of the stages inner parts, and I'm not sure it's worth trying to learn all these things just for this Wii Sports set, nor does it sound like a good beginners project.

But now that I've annotated all the stuff I expect to be hard and unreasonable to ask about, I'll ask if any of this is actually doable after all?

It's actually really easy to get enough modeldatas. Just follow that link in my last post, kay? Follow the instructions in that post for each modeldata, read my last post to know how to change the modeldata number.

BTW, you won't be able to put FD over STGEMBLEM_00 because FD has 2 modeldatas, and STGEMBLEM_00 has one.
