why isnt my file patch code working!!( and SD card setup) PLEASE READ

when i turn the file patch code on for gecko  it said it cant find it. here is the set up of my SD card. can you spot anything wrong. im trying to get dark link onto my game.( i took out the OoT music file from the download.

What do you mean?
What's the error you get when you load gecko/wherever it's giving you a error at?

the gecko just sais file patch code not found when its loading the game, and does my sd card look close to good?

need gameconfig.txt for it to not give that error

what is gameconfig.txt, and do u think the dark link will work if i get gameconfig.txt

copy and paste this into notepad and save as gameconfig.txt on the root of your sd card

copy and paste all of it? and do i put it straight into my sd card as a file. btw is the dark link download in the correct spot. and i have wii 4.3u , does it matter

Copy & Paste it into Notepad and save it as a .txt file.

Also, can you name exactly what you have in folder "link"?

i thought you said to put file code in the codes folder after saving it with gtc editor

File patch code goes into codes folder. gameconfig.txt goes into the root of your sd card.

i put the file patch through the gct file editor, and i copy and pasted the game config to note pad then to the root. they are both in the correct places and when i load up gecko it sais file patch not found. btw with the gameconfig do i copy and paste the entire thing as it is or do i make it 1 line or somthing :oshi:
