You're welcome everyone. It was actually pretty tough, I think it took me about a straight week (doing nothing but coding) to finish it. I was working in correspondence with the PMBR so it should be pretty much bug free; I think there's just one minor bug left that I need to address. Oooh, thanks for the update Blackjax. Now it's time for me to use the tristripper to optimize all of the extra Project M models so they don't lag anymore.
They should have a patch ready soon. Oh yeah and thanks for that awesome Christmas gift man, I'm a little surprised you got it done in time for the holidays!
Haha well let's just say I can get anything done in time with enough motivation. Wow that was quite a spectacle there. Damn, but that guy gets what he deserves for all that [censored] talk which was totally unwarranted. you must deal with that crap a lot BJ. I can only admire your patience while handling those idiots.
The internet can be a dark and twisted place. Thieves, pirates and trolls be roamin' about. You gotta know your ways around the trolls; they're some ugly-ass creatures.

isn't there a way to tristrip a mdl0 without exporting and re-importing?

I would recommend just exporting and reimporting anyway, but keep a copy of said model. I'm gonna make a tutorial(which won't have many pics) about the best way to reimport and optimize the models you already have.

Why? I strongly prefer going through each object and using the optimize button, as I can see exactly how much the original point count has been decreased (or increased, which is bad) before the optimization is applied, and I don't have to set up the model's materials and shaders again. Unless you're also talking about cutting down the influence/node count, which in that case yes you should definitely export and reimport the model. isn't there a way to tristrip a mdl0 without exporting and re-importing?
For just tristripping, you can right click an object -> Optimize

I updated the v0.71 download with some final updates. I'll lock this thread on the first of January. Here's hoping all the best with your game. I like the stories you gave all the characters, you can relate to most of them, which is a very good thing when it comes to story telling in video games.
