Need help with Item texturing

i have the brawl mods folder and everything on my sd set but the problem is....applying item texture hacks and where to put them on my sd card. also if i wanted to add a new item that isnt in the game then where am i gonna add that file to my sd card

one more thing can you remove the other forum just look at the vary bottom and click on the thing that says Remove Thread

hmmm... never tryed it ask someone who has texture items and did them or look at the The Complete N00B's Guide to Brawl Hacking

Item files go in common3.pac.
Just open it up and replace the .brres with a downloaded one or edit the items or do whatever you want to do.

Also, by new item that's not in the game, what do you mean?

so one more question.......i have the common_en.pac open and found itemcommonbrres then found itemassistbrres so i thought this would be the assist trophies but the question is....where do i put my brres that i downloaded and how do i find that assist trophies texture or brres so i can replace it?

Assist trophies go in the item folder, each assist trophy has it's own folder within the item folder. The folder should be named what is between asf and .pac (Asf<name is here>.pac)
