Ow ? Never mind then. ^^ I tried it and the result seems to be good. I think my idea was too twisted, in fact. ^^' Tried it, love it. Much more playable than before. But I keep getting console freezes randomly appearing during the match only while playing with him ... I have no idea what causes this. It really occurs at totally random occasions ...

I don't know. It's just "like that". The console freezes with an ugly noise, just like when you try to load an incorrectly named texture, or if a pac is named a pcs as an example. Except it just happens at random, so it's not an error of positionning in the SD card. I jump at the ennemy, and freeze. I attack him, and freeze. I just freaggin' stand there, and it freezes. It's really impossible to work out ... Maybe it's only for me. If noboby had this problem on smashboards, I guess you shouldn't worry about it. It doesn't happen THAT much. ... Just one for each 7 fights, I think ?

I love this character, but smart old me decides to add more jumps, increasing it to 20 or so, and I could only do 2 jumps -__-
I think that was Jigglypuff tho.
Friggen godly idea. I can't wait till model/animation hax are possible, because that's the only thing we can't hack in brawl right now. We have music, texture, and now MOVESET hacking. I can't wait until those other 2 are possible, then brawl is oficially blasted wide open.

I love Wisp! But I think I found a bug. Whenever I use its fully charge side B,Wisp just freezes and can't do anything until it gets damaged.

Thanks for all the feedback guys! @power9000: Jigglypuff and Kirby can't have their jumps edited via Attributes alone, sorry. :/ I love Wisp! But I think I found a bug. Whenever I use its fully charge side B,Wisp just freezes and can't do anything until it gets damaged.
Thanks! Are you using the first version or version 1.1? I should have gotten rid of all such glitches in 1.1. (At least I really hope so!)

I absolutely love Wisp over jigglypuff. I remember seeing a texture for this character already somewhere before. I think i'll download that and try it out if I run into it again. I havent run into any freezes with this character yet, but if I do i'll be sure to let you know. What I do recommend though, for a next release, is to make the character more easily understandable to newcomers who picked up the controller using this character for the first time. I didnt know that Up+B was actually a charging move for a tornado until I read the description on one of the posts. Right now, i'm still not sure what Down+B (i'm not sure if it was this move though, since I dont have my wii in front of me right now) does. It was the move that looked like Wisp was digging into the ground. What you could possibly do for moves like Up+B is make it look like it's charging up, maybe with noticable effects on the side, or a glow that becomes more intense the more it's charged. This is just my own opinion though. I'm not sure if there was anything else I wanted to say, but i'll let you know if there anything. Of course, this is just my own opinion though. Wisp is definately worth having to play with =D Love it!

How do you mean? Thanks freezin! I'm afraid that it is a shortcoming of how Up+B works that you need to know it has to be held to charge it. It's very difficult to convey things with purely graphic effects. I will think on how to make it more intuitive. The down+B is Earthquake, which will damage all enemies touching the ground when it finishes. By holding B only briefly, you'll only damage them 4%; holding longer will trip them for 8%, and holding for a long time will impale all grounded foes for 12%.

yeah i just read that post about wisp's movesets again. i'll be having some friends over tomorrow to test out / play with all the new movesets i've downloaded, and the new character Wisp =]
I actually dont know a thing about hacking, so I cant actually help as much as I want except to say what I think might be possible to hack in my mind. Or at least try to be close to what's possible.

That's weird -- I can't make Jigglypuff at all visible with any of Shiek's throws. Was there anything else going on when you experienced this?

Bump. Version 1.2 released.
Changelist: - Ice form is now left taunt, fire form is right taunt. Regardless of facing. - Momentum on Neutral B happens on frame 6 instead of 1 now. - Fixed glitch of floating with Up+B. - Maybe something else very minor that I forgot.
