Why would you want to go down after going up in an up special. It's not Aether. Victory Light Spear would spin up and rise up. Not like light spear where you would spin up and eject down. Yes, Light Spear would have a better horizontal reach but Victory Light Spear would have more vertical reach.
And I did not know that you were continuing the joke... It sounded so serious. Er... read serious?
And i suggested Light Spear but was going to use it as a joke if no one liked it.
Also to clarify, "Victory Light Spear" is Lvl.3 on T-Type for Kratos. While "Light Spear" is Lvl.2 on both S and T-Types.

Ah! And this is because of these levels that light spear should be used as an up special!
And I know it is not Aether, and the case is completely different, Aether you fall completely down, but with light spear, you fall at 45 degree down, which allow at the same time vertical and horizontal recovery, which justifies that Light spear should be used as a recovery movement! And besides, victory light spear and light spear originally have the same vertical reach, if we use one of them as a way to come back, they should have the same vertical reach! And Victory light spear would leave you completely vulnerable if you use it like that during some time if used in ground as an Up special, which is bad!
So you were thinking that I was ready to take light spear as a dash attack, an attack that absolutely not answers the characteristics of a dash attack? I have pity for you, and even more to have not noticed I continued this joke, I left some evidences really talking!

But using up special to use light spear would feel really weird... I'm not saying it wouldn't work, just that the motion of victory light spear sounds like it would fit an up special. And what other up specials don't leave you vulnerable?

Donkey Kong's special, and Peach's too (when you use them in ground)!
And I absolutely not agree, victory light spear in the game is a move that allows to make more damages than Light spear, and Light spear is a move that makes less damages, but allows you to travel more distance. I think it is enough, the recovery move is already found. And if we take your logic saying that Light spear is weird because you fall at a special degree, Aether is weird too, Ness up special is weird too, Luca's too. And what is really interesting about this is that these characters that I quote are absolutely not created characters.

Ness and Lucas' Up specials do leave them helpless. It depends on how you use them.
And it's just me that Victory light spear should be the up special. I honestly have no problem with Light Spear as an up special instead.

And Victory light spear is not the best way to recover for Kratos, so it is not the move to put as an up special! This is the main reason that light spear should be this move!

For the entry animation, we can make an entry like Link in Ssb 64, but with Kratos who has his wings. And when he touches the floor, his wings are retracted.

Oh, using the "Final HD Test" reference video on the first page, use the part after shining bind. Where he falls and retracts his wings.

I've been busy lately. So i haven't worked on them yet. I should be able to get a start on Friday. I'll show you guys my Emil and Lloyd icons. Edit: Emil Lloyd I haven't gotten a reply about the Lloyd stock but the Emil stock are confirmed. (To you know what Philia) I'm not that bad at them right? |

The Emil icons? Oh, I've already saw them, Judas showed them to me, unless you have made some modifications or other things. The Lloyd I've never saw them though...
Take your time to do them, but be careful with Kratos because maybe his hair will bring you some problems....
