the only thing i could think of that would fit would be something similar to sonics final smash.. which i know wouldnt be possible.
Ill look through the file and see if i cant fix his fs.

If we can't solve this mistery, then ill think about building a new fs from scratch

hmm a final smash like Sonic´s if cape is up thats a great idea and do it so he looks like he used a star :D flying around with star power so he got star GFXs while he flying around and killing others
and final smash without cape can you try to still be the same as normal final smash if not it work just try that idea i got before if use final smash without cape :D he use a star and more damage and can´t be touched  abit like Wario´s final smash

mine final smash works in training but not battles

The exact same thing is happening to me. I thought I fixed it but I found out it only works in training mode, in brawl mode it freezes

is it freezing for people if they use the final smash without the cape? i just tested it again and its only freezing for me with the cape

mine freezing no matter cape is out or not:( but you can try to make a new final smash and see it works i gave you afew ideas from my last post in this thread :D

Do you still need to follow the steps for the cape to appear, if you dont use textures/vertexes for Mario?

unfortunately yes...

but not following the steps wont necessarily effect gameplay
the only difference is, the cape will look like the fludd and it will be coming out of mario's neck

It's possible that you make a PAL version of Cape Mario for PAL user???
