    when i try to switch pokemon, the game crashes. how can i fix this?

    Do you have the texture .pac on you're folder Pokemon Trainer or a Pokémon?

    Make sure that none of the PAC files are compressed, as that's one reason the game might crash.

    No you need to decompress the PAC files.  In BrawlBox, there's a compression setting.  If set to LZ77, the archive is compressed.  Otherwise, if set to None, the archive is uncompressed.
