So I finally got my SD card and homebrew + riivolution...the only mod I added so far was the Peach voice. It worked fine at home but when I brought my Wii to a friend's house and we all played, the game would freeze randomly and make this awful sound until I unplugged it. I went through all of Peach's moves to try to figure out if I entered one sound wrong or something but I couldn't link it to one specific instance or stage - it would just stop working at random and make that awful noise. Do you know what I did wrong? (I used sawndz to put the files in one by one as outlined in your first post. Haven't tried to work hex yet)

I know how that feels.  I'm glad that you finally got your SD card modified for Brawl hacks, but it shouldn't freeze randomly, especially if it had no problems at home.  The only freezing I ever get is when I try to edit my common5.pac file for the CSS stuff, canceling to the start screen and back to the main menu, and picking a Custom Stage icon that's doesn't have a supporting custom stage.  It could be a result of a code in the .gct file that would freeze the game (only if you have any codes on).

I don't have any codes...I didn't edit anything at all except for the sound file :(

I wouldn't know how to fix something like that.  I did everything there was to do inserting them in and making a hex pack.  I don't know why your getting random freezes.  I wish I knew a little bit more about this, maybe Jaklub may know something about this.

The sound effects are slow for a couple of reasons this time around, one reason is that I need to schedule for more classes for video game character 3d modeling and the other was to apply for part time somewhere.  Normally you would only need just two interviews, one to tell about yourself and the second is to get the boss approval.

For me it called for three interviews and the run-a-round just to get a job.  Apparently gas is a big issue and in the end they only wanted someone with experience and not waste time training someone new with no prior work experience, literally wasting my time when they could have just said so.  So I was practically in a slump since this was one of the first interviews I got from the 60 I sent to various places that actually called me in.

Edit: Good lord!?  What the in the world only god knows is going on in the vault?  It's the age of the Shadows again!

Thanks for your input~ I think it's some kind of problem with Riivolution, not the sounds. Because I've seen other people have certain stages freeze for them (found out it's Delfino, Yoshi's, and Spear Pillar for me) and all they added was texture hacks.
