mewtwo 1.01 sounds

i downloaded the mewtwo v 1.01. everything works fine except the sounds for him. the announcer still says mewtwo and in game when he fights he still sounds like lucario.  i have the brsar file and what i did was i foudn the offset with the code given in the readme, and copied everything from the mewtwo file and just pasted it into the offset. put it inthe pf/sounds folder. is that how i'm supposed to do it? what did i do wrong that it isn't working. btw i used hxd. thanks so much  

EDit: i also do have the japanese version of brawl and using the brsar file the mewtwo download came with. not sure if that changes anything

It might be possible that some of the sound files you use are not compatable with your version

Did you delete the files after doing the hexing?

which files? once i did the hexing i put the new file into the folder it belonged to.

I mean did you delete the hex files after saving the brsar in your hex editor?

i opened hxd and opened the brsar, and the 3 files that came with the mewtwo download. those include his voice and the announcer.  once i copied the mewtwo files to where they were supposed to be put in the brsar i saved it. and put the new brsar into the sd card

then i cant explain the problem try getting a US brawl disk
