Hey is there a guide on how to switch from Gekco to Riivolution? Including like what to do with your files you already have and stuff? Because I hear its allot better and you can do so much more.

the good thing about Riivo is that, if you get the right XML, theres very little change to be done with your file placements.

Ok thx but I still have no idea HOW to switch and how Riivo works. Like, do I set up my SD card any differently? and will changing, effect my codes in any way? can you explain a little bit?

(xml with the folder structure of the file replacement code)
with these files, its almost the same as gecko, you only load through riivo:P
you can use all the codes I think, but if the codeset is too large you need a modified c=xml file:P and just extract the files ans stuff and it should work |

Ok I don;t know if you know this but I'm a noob, so I still don't know where to put any of these files. and again, so I have to change around my SD card at all? Btw I herd something bout Riivo not using Selmep or selcharcater only common5. is that true? and I have no idea how the xml folder stuff works.

Yes, you need to use common5.pac, not selmap or selchar. but it's pretty easy to import them in Brawlbox into a clean common5.pac and save that on your SD card. As for having to do much, what you need to do is place the riivolution folder in the apps folder of your SD card, then place the xml and codelauncher.bin in the same folder. This has the same file setup as Gecko so you won't have to mess around with your files any. Just make sure that common5 is called common5_en.pac.

Ok so It works  but the only problem is that now my CSS is messed up and all the character icons are jumbled up and over lapping. I have the flaming blue CSS by the way. Also, none of my codes work. besides that, everythign else is fine. Btw what folder do I put character voices in? |

How do I delete the a code? I cant figure out how to delete my file patch in the .gct file. I can highlight it but not delete it. By the way the Gct file you gave me didnt work either. all the icons were still all messed up.
