I'm working on a stage hack for Mario Bros. Pretty much all of the texture work is done, all I need to do now is add a background and water to It and It's finished. I'm pretty sure I can add the water just fine, I'm just not sure how to add a background.

I guess I should have mentioned that It's a 2D background I'm trying to add. I guess what I'm really asking is, what model should I use to add a 2D background?

So what should I send you If you're going to attempt this? Just the texture of the background, the whole stage .pac file, or both?

You could just use the ModelData.brres. But then again being able to see everything in the Collision editor makes things easier. Should I send everything to the MSN in your profile?

You talking about the Mario Bros. stages on the Mario Advance games?

Wait....wat are collisions? Am i sposda edit those if i do a stage import? Would not doing so result in a freeze on the stage selection screen?

Collisions are what control where you stand on a stage.

Ugh...I added water to the stage and even though I moved It down with bone editing, It won't stay where I put It. Also, I tried the stage .pac with the background added by Lethal Blade. It didn't work until I moved the model into the same ModelData.brres that has the stage and water. After that the background showed up, but unfortunately like this:

I didn't think something as simple as adding water and a background would be so hard, but both are being very uncooperative right now.

    Mario Bros?
    Water?

o_0 Hey! You're not supposed to say things like that out loud! >_>

...Oh what does It matter? The picture more or less gives It away. Sad

That has nothing to do with what this topic is about. Please make a new topic instead of asking in someone else's thread. (Unless your question is relevant to the other person's in which case, I personally wouldn't mind.)
