i thought the IP was the on the internet and not on the PC...

Banning his IP will make sure he'll never be able to go to these forums on that IP. Smartest would be to ban the entire range so he can't just switch IP's and come back.

The guy was "spared" and only got warned... after that he's kept on trolling/spamming, can't any other staff member... I dunno, do their job and either get him to the next warning level or even temporarily mute him? r)

as i said many times he is even more Annoying then these small kids in world of warcraft(a online game with like 12milo. players) (and thats really hard to be)

Couldn't that ban people who had nothing to do with it?
Or avoid some people to register because of it?

I don't know much about IPs, so sorry if what I'm asking sounds dumb :P

Depends on what range, if he has IP: 84.56.243.12
Then i could ban the range at 84.56.243.* (The * represents the range 1 -255 on the last part)

That way only his range would be blocked, not anyone else's
