censsor bypass?
If you'd look at the list of censored words, neither of those are on it. So no it's not.

Since Slut isn't censored, saying Sl*t isn't a censor bypass.
Offensive maybe, but not a censor bypass.

No, why would someone want the word sex to be censored? It's already annoying that some words like [censored], [censored] and [censored] are censored... Now you can't freely write words like pea[censored], [censored]atoo, [censored]pit, Han[censored], [censored], or even [censored] as a verb. It's even more annoying if the url of a site, image or video contains a censored word because it won't display them properly.

Solution: Turn censors off.
You can write them all. Just people with them on will have a harder time understanding you.

And that's the problem. I have censors off, but the default is to have them on and most users don't even know you can turn them off, which results in people wondering what the hell you just wrote, or why an image or video won't display.

I'll have a little talk with him about that. No, why would someone want the word sex to be censored?

We most probably aren't going to smite people for bypassing the censors on words that have no reason to be censored ... So just write etc... if you happen to have to use these words. (Not that they are extremely common, but hey...) However, it doesn't justify the censor byspassing in words like bull[censored], [censored][censored], mind[censored], [censored]head, etc ... Because there, the root of the censored word holds the same meaning. And as usual, if you're in doubt, just write the word plainly and simply. Better be a bit misunderstood than breaking a rule.

I just tested it by turning on the censors and you're right. That's weird. :\
These words don't show up censored either:

Right now, it only checks whole words.
This means that cx's complaint is almost entirely void (since all those words containing censored words aren't censored), but all those other words get through, too.
Can't really win here, it looks like. If we make it censor within words, we'll have people complaining about the same thing cx did. If we leave it like it is, we'll get complaints about that.
