Could someone mind telling me why deleting your own posts is not allowed anymore all of the sudden? What's with all these changes all the damn time? Seriously. Deleting just any posts in this board is not allowed. There is a thread where I don't want to get replies for anymore, therefore I want to delete it. Now we gotta go through all this [censored] and drama I bet, just get my damn post deleted. |

Whut ? Where ? I didn't change anything like that (and apparently, neither did Vyse), so it must be a mistake somewhere. I just checked and I can't see anything wrong with the permissions in the "boards with unusual permissions" (Moderation Corner + Recycle Bin) ... |

? It hasn't been removed, it's still around, but only visible for admins, mods and others. I'm pretty sure it's been the case for years now, I don't remember this board being ever visible to anyone beside us before. o.o; It's getting really easy for us to be confused with all these board-related permissions, these days. x.x |

Must have been a mistake then. We had a few others like that recently.
Like, a few special membersgroups (BV: No Report/Submit, No PM, and the BrawlVault Supervisors) were able to view all topics in the Moderation Corner when they weren't supposed to. Wasn't a ton of people (~25 that shouldn't have had that right), but we fixed it as soon as we found out, for obvious reasons.
I guess i'll take some time this weekend to re-check all the permissions in the Admin Panel, to make sure there aren't more errors like that.
Cause we've got permissions in the Membersgroup tab, in the permissons tab, in the Boards tab, and an additionnal set of permissions in Boards. So it's quite easy to get confused there with how they overlap with each other.

It happened on one of the topics, on the Vertex section. ? It hasn't been removed, it's still around, but only visible for admins, mods and others.
? Well, I know less than you guys. You guys can see everything, I can't. I didn't take a screenshot, but that's what it said. I just did a test on the same topic and deleted it, and it worked fine, as always. Also, the post that I tried deleting last night when I couldn't, is now gone. You guys need to check your history, log, and all that. See what's going on. |

There's nothing like that in the Moderation Log ... That's pretty weird.
I think the first of your Delete commands, the one that "didn't work", actually worked but you didn't refresh it, or it worked but with a delay.
That would explain why the post was deleted but does not appear in the Moderation Log (since it only logs actions from Admins and Mods).

Yeah, it sounds like the delete worked fine, the forum just... acted like it didn't? Because there's nothing wrong or out of place on our end. Must have been a mistake then. We had a few others like that recently. Er, no. The Texture Gallery was visible for everyone until picano introduced BrawlVault, at which time we hid it. |

Wolfric, why are you curious about the texture gallery?
Like Vyse said, it was taken down when BrawlVault was introduced. There's no point to have it seen anymore.
Besides, I thought that, if you had access to the page somehow, it'd tell you about BrawlVault.
