I've did a model swap and I have this glitch occurring. There is no freezing, the grab itself looks fine, but it lasts way shorter than it should. Could someone remind me what is the fix for this problem? Thanks in advance.

Look into your bone count.  This usually is the culprit for any sort of model swapping issues.  Who did you swap over?  And with who?  Also did you use a .rel file to swap?

    Thanks for reply.
Swapped model has 24 bones, the character who it is over is MK with 76 bones. However, I don't think it really matters anymore, I could fix every glitch so far (including item grabbing, which does not freeze). Unless short grab is the only remaining unfixable glitch, which would be sad.
And I no, I'm not using a rel.

Anyway, here is more precise explanation.
The problem with the grab is that the opponent is released in time shorter than second. However, I can normally throw, without having these actions interrupted. Pummel is stopped, but that happens normally too.

    Edited after more precise checking.

Wow that's a huge bone difference!  I'm fairly sure usually grabbing while having less bones will result in a freeze.  It's amazing that you've even got that to work  Im srs here

Is this going to be uploaded to the vault?  I'm curious as to who it is!  Awesome Face

At any rate I'm not really certain where the problem lies here. :\

Have the (I think) HaveN bone near the hand in the animation.

You mean HaveN that's simply editable in Tabuu along the TransN, ThrowN etc, or the more item holding bones themselves?
