uhm do you need the new attacks for a skin in order to let the skin model work?

if this is a PSA(not a import like Shadow over Donkey kong) but something like Goku PSA over Cp. falcon you can use any vertexs/texture you wanted
Since the moveset is over Cp. falcon
and the vertex too
but if it is a import like Shadow over Dk. you have to use Shadow or Sonic vertexs/textures

if i replace the model from sonic into shadow its shadow with sonic attacks?
