Yeah that Shadow is very dated. I agree with literally everything said for that. Yours is certainly the superior. Also I never expected you to sound British. I like it. Great review, and I look forward to more.
I can't remember if I asked this or not, but will your shadow or other hacks get Minus versions? I am hooked on it, and I know you use it so... okthxbai.

Most likely. Though creating Minus versions is quite difficult. It's not as simple as making attacks faster and stronger and giving the character graphic effects. They need a new gimmick that allows the character to feel fresh but familiar so I'll need to put extra thought into them. |

Soo, about time I replied to this review...
I'm actually quite surprised that you picked Issun out of all my other submissions... if I had known that you'd actually be reviewing four, I actually would've guessed that you'd pick Beast Ganon for the fourth.
Anyway, when I understood your cons about him right, you dislike how the textures on his "cape" stretch? Well... for that thing it was either making it in (almost) one single color, which makes it look worse in my opinion, or having the details stretch a little... I prefered the latter.
I'm actually kinda surprised that you mention how low-quality the textures for Issun's shoes are in comparison to the rest of his model... at the time I started with those, I was already quite bored of working on him, and didn't really do anything about them anymore.
As for him using actual textures... yeah, you were right about that, but there was one major problem with the textures I got: Except for the hat and his arms and legs were only in black and white, so I had to re-color them all by myself...
Anyway... as for the other three, I'm kinda surprised that Clouby is your favourite... back when I was working on both him and Dederoth, my main focus actually was on Dederoth... Clouby was just some sort of bonus thing to go along with him.
Not that I'm complaining about the fact that you still like him, though...
As for the stage: Almost right. It's Ryoshima Coast. Name's easy to remember because you can't spell "Ryoshima" without "Yoshi".
(And my suggestion remains... play Okami. Trust me, you'll only thank me when you actually do it... )
Anyway, thanks for reviewing these. I really enjoyed watching this.

Yeah, Okami's models use some property in the model itself to color those. You did an awesome job on it, though. |
