Another ASH problem

I'm having problems with ASH 2.2, with adding Sonic's body mask.

I said yes to add the texture part and it comes up with saying that it found MAGENTA and asks to make it transparent and I say yes, then it says "UNEXPECTED ERROR: This texture has erroneous colors! Press any key to continue..." then I press ENTER and it comes up with the same error message whenever I press ENTER.

ASH 2.3 doesn't make a .pcs file either.

Please tell me how to fix these problems.

What photo editor are you using?

Gimp and Windows Paint.

That texture part can only be indexed with Photoshop.  You can also ignore it by inputting n when asked to add the body mask texture part.

I skipped the Sonic Body Mask and ASH won't make a .pac or .pcs file.
