Collabed, yes. Credited, nah.
I've also seen some people who were collabbed in the making of one popular PSA just for their feedback. I did not grant the award for that, but I can imagine that if it becomes automated, such distinction between collabs cannot be done. Sorry but i highly disagree, without their constant feedback the PSA would have never become how it is today. They deserve that award as much as DO, Hollow, Booya and such do. They tested, retested AND REtested every time a change was made. They put more time in it then Hollow or Booya have, i can say that without hesitation. A collab is a collab, DO added them in. It's a collab on the 4k. 4k= award, it's stupid to not give them just because they gave feedback. IMO it's BS to not give it. |

(Why does this sound as hollow and completely exaggerated as "having to think real hard for weeks before coming up with my G&W recolors" ? To me, what they did was worthy of credit, not a collab. They did not make anything major in the PSA or the animations. Which is probably why they were credited in the hack in the first place. >_>)
Bah, who cares ? I'll just give it to them if feedback is all you need to get 4000+ Downloads.
I just hope this does't end up being abused and some people start getting collabs for any kinds of feedback, "just to get the award". |

They made video's gif files and much more then simple feedback, i can know since i read the entire thread. I've been there watching it unfold as it did, i just didn't give feedback along the way. They did, big time. Their help is what made this PSA what it's now, without their help it wouldn't have gotten past V2 |

I don't really care about having the Award or not, but, as it says here:
Yeah... I know what PSA that is... No need to hide it's Sephiroth. <_<
And honestly, that seems a bit odd, you will give that award to people who are collaborated... And yet, won't since you don't see it as fit for said award... I just thought I would point that out.
And as someone said...

Fairness, where is it? But, this is not what my post is about.
You're tearing down the 200 pages of feedback we've given (Including uploaded videos, custom-made GIFs, a few animations (Most of 'em scrapped thanks to exploring other alternatives due to our Feedback. Sums up, this is worth more than that BBB/Tormod/Hollow has done), among other stuff we, the feedbackers, have given. In order to take the Award off Data and AoD, you'd have to read the whole 200 posts and see if what they did wasn't worth a Collab, like you're saying. |

Then one of you remove the bloody "credits to Apprentice Of Death, _Data_Drain_ , Wolfric, for feedback. " in the submission. If you're collabbed, then there's no need to "credit yourselves".
Do you often see me adding "credit to myself" in my (few) submissions ?
Maybe that way, mods and admins passing by the Vault to distribute 40 awards one by one won't have the idea that maybe it was a mistake, a joke, an exageration of your role, etc ?
Cleanup your submission abit before pulling out the grand speeches about "fairness and justice" and all that.
Anyways. Awards gotten. Case Closed. >_>

And as expected, we already have drama related to the awards...
I actually expected "problems" to pop out sooner than this, so congrats I guess.
Since when, giving feedback = collaboration/work?
Giving feedback and testing should be considered as giving credit at most, not really a collaborated work, unless they actually worked in the files.
If we see this from another point of view, it's unfair that some people gained the award for working/making a hack, while a bunch of other people got it merely for giving feedback.
But really, I can't believe people are complaining of someone not receiving an award... geez, grow up people, it's just a little picture under your avatar, it's the same if you have it or if you don't.
And don't even try to shield the situation under the "I don't care about the award, but it's not fair" excuse, because frankly, if you're complaining about it, then you do care.
