I think that there should be an award for Downloads per hack. Say, an award for having an uncollabed average of 2000 downloads per hack. Now I know what you may be thinking. "But the stats constantly change and go up and down". But the fact of the matter is, THEY DON'T.
The only exception to this rule, funnily enough, is myself. I'm the only one out of those people that is moving up and down because I'm still posting hacks. And even then I'm still retaining this average of over 2000 downloads per hack anyways.
The other thing I was thinking to make this work is to make it so that people with a certain number of hacks and have over 2000 hacks per download deserve this. This would help narrow it down even more, and these people will definitely keep consistency because if they upload a new hack, the average won't go down by that much. Let's say, at least 10 non collaborated hacks and an average of 2000 downloads. This means really only about 3 or 4 people would have this.
Oh and before you guys say that I'd just be doing this award for myself, I don't even have 10 non collaborated hacks. I have 9

Nonono if your average downloads per hack is over 2000 and you have at least 10 hacks in your Brawlvault. As in taking the people in the "Most Popular Artists" bit of the vault's stats and giving awards to those people (but only the ones who have at least 10 hacks).

Oh, right. My bad, I read it wrong. .-. I'll give him the tutorial award. (Although I think Dot should repost it in the tutorials section of the boards. It would make more sense and help more people.) I'd also give it to xxGBCxx ... if his tutorial wasn't a picture-less, explanations-less, tips-less version of my own tutorial, that I had written monthes before he did. >_> Nonono if your average downloads per hack is over 2000 and you have at least 10 hacks in your Brawlvault. As in taking the people in the "Most Popular Artists" bit of the vault's stats and giving awards to those people (but only the ones who have at least 10 hacks).
That would be a whopping total of ... 4 people. *cough* Now, if the limit is set to 1000 ... 13 people. *cough*cough* I dunno. Doesn't seem that useful to me. From what I've browsed, it will basically be redundant with the Favorite'd/Royalty/>9000 awards. The only users with a high average that do not have any of these awards happen to have less than 10 hacks. Don't really wanna see two awards rewarding what is basically the exact same reality. PS : I've just noticed you were saying "for non-collaborated works". I had counted WITH the collaborated works. Without collabs, change the figures to 1 and 9.

Yep. I've read it. A method that focuses on cloning the model, unchecking the light-bulb on the first one, editing the second one, and then morphing the first with both the second and the vertex set. And finally, exporting. That is EXACTLY what I've described here. Except I've gone into more detail. It's the method of "patching without creating patches", by morphing. The second part of the tutorial is what I described in my tut as the "double-patching". It was first described by mk64n in an explanation video in June 2010, and I've transcribed it into that tutorial with a few more extra content. Not that I'm blaming him or calling him a bad guy or anything, eh.

make it look like the brawlbox messed up one... That's because I'm actually doing it the smart way. Instead of trying to "remake the deformed model", I'm just importing it. Saves quite a bit of time, and it makes sure that there are no approximations. 17- 17- But if we look at her feet ... something's wrong, baby. Modifying the legs/feet or arms/hands will cause a distortion on the left side. You'll need to re-patch to correct this. Of course, there's no need to double-patch if you don't have any issue. Just like in the beginning of the tutorial, you ned to extract the mdl0, brres and textures of your new PAC. (Create a sub-folder for the double-patching, you wion't get lost, that way. ). Convertyour new .BRRES into a DAE (which i'll just call "the new DAE" from now on). 18- Back into 3DS MAX, click on your melting blob and Hide Unselected. Import the new DAE, push OK in all the windows saying there's an Import Name Conflict. but in your tutorial you dont turn the values down to 0 and then make it look like the brawlbox messed up one... I say to delete the Morpher Channel, then pick a new one. It's basically my method to reset the counter to 0 20- Click on the blob, go to Morpher, right-click on the mod box => Delete Channel, then right-click => Pick From Scene and click on the polygon03. We're still saying the same thing. I'm just giving a more effective way of doing it. The one from mk64n himself.
