Hello, i need to know if its possible to edit the GFX colors of character's moves, for example: making mario's fireball blue. Ive tried doing it in SmashAttacks! but im not sure how or if its even possible. Can someone please help me?

    1) This belongs in the A/A Help Section
    2) I only know that unique GFX (like Mario's Fireball) are editable in the MotionEtc. Open it with BrawlBox, look for the fire, and then recolor it (photo editing)

Thanks for your responce. Im almost positive MotionEtc. does not contain the colors. i Searched and searched within it and found nothing. However i looked at FitCaptain.pac and it did contain an image of fire which i changed to blue (in hopes it wld change his fire from his B move to blue and the rest of the fire on him to blue) by simply exporting the image recoloring it, and importing it in. However that did nothing even though i clearly changed the color.

I then decided to open up FitCaptan.pac in SmashAttacks, found my B move, saw the GFX colors: (red: FF, green: 64, and blue: 00) i also found another line in the B move tht contained very simmular but different color numbers. I changed them around and nothing happened at all.

Im starting to assume that it is very diffucult to change the colors of GFX and its something i havent seen done so im not sure if any one even knows how. However I do know you can just change the effect of the animation, example: (mario's fireball to electricity) because i have seen the done countless times.

I don't think it would be an actual texture that you edit like you did to the Captain Falcon one.

It would most likely be something like a CLR0 file that you edit the hex number for color for and not an actual texture.

I actually have no idea. But I don't think it'll be a texture.

    Maybe try hexing the article?

I was really hoping this wldnt b wat i had to do, but i think your right. Looks like i get to hex edit through files within the MotionEct. and Fit(insert character here).pac's =/

    Thanks everyone for the help.
