I was told that in order to get non-Brawl characters moving in the near-completed BrawlBox, I must give them a skeleton of a Brawl character of my choice. However, how do I rip a Brawl character's skeleton? Does anyone here knows how? Thanks.

you must re-name bones to fit the name of brawl characters, AND make sure they have the same number of bones that the character you're porting it over has.

or you can make new animations for that character port

I think he means when the character has no bones whatsover. If so, I believe there is a tutorial linked at the begining of the DAE to MDL0 conversion thread. But you have most likely seen this and are asking because the tutorial says "If you're using an existing one you imported from a brawl character, simply resize each bone until they match the proportions of your character". I suggest you just create one with the 3D program you use (I do not know how) or just ask Justin712 since he wrote the tutorial about rigging.
