You can not rush something. And expect it to be as good as what could have been when given the proper time...

Look at how Brawl was. Lots of unused content (Mewtwo and Roy come to mind), poor balancing, and some otherwise unrefined things... Many other games are also guilty of this as well.

Point is. Never rush things. Give Demon the time he needs to finish this.
