Brook turned out to be over 50,000... I pro-optimized to a random number like 5% out of 100% and his faces were over 1,000. He's ugly up to around 35%, but his shoes and sword suffer. I'm aborting this guy.
Just asking what the limit is, that's all   |

for brock, I think you should convert to editable poly and then using the wield option (you have to select all the vertices); then click on wield and set it to 0,01 then pro optimize as usual
thats how I deal with 50 000+ vertices'd models

I CAN'T DO ANYTHING!
i'm forced to retire.
i tried to get autodesk 3DS max 2010, but NOWHERE i even checked the website has it! i installed it on my computer, and i get an error message saying BIPexporteR2010.dle failed to initalize. but if thats not enough, i only can have the 30-day trial! and to top it all off, i can't get my product code, or whatever back, because autodesk changed there layout. so goodbye everyone! I REALLY HATE autodesk now!

In your appdata folder, under local, go to the autodesk's folder and 2010 enu, plugcfg and delete BIPED.INI. It'll get reid of that biped error. |

does not exist. well, i'm going for the 3-year trial. does 3DS max 2011 work for brawl hacks as well ass 2010? or did i have 2011? |

I remember trying to make one myself, got tired of trying to add models cause I always needed somebody to rig it for me because I had no 3ds max. Remember to get rid of the hat a buttons obviously, but you should make the ears less pointed. |

I know for a fact that the vast majority of the public here cares more about free products than actual quality. I mean, we're kinda modding an old Wii game after like 6 years, instead of buying new stuff. That's pretty telling.  |

Something waaaaaaay overdue, fixed up the model with symmetry as well as lining up his legs to Gannondorf's skeleton and so on  And yes, Fifi will be released like the dog he is!  Edit: UV maps are, a "bit" of a mess ROFL, hoo boy. Edit 2: Easy solution, use the Detach_by_ID script, shows in Brawl Box. |

not quite. You can still save this! I know because I had a similat problem. You have to completely uninstall everything in the program. Autodesk's site did change, but if you still have the email from them that had your product code/etc, then your still in good shape. If you can find that email, you can still get the full student version, and not just a 30-day trial |

Both work for importing. I used to use 2010, but my school offered licences for 2011 so I got that one as well. They are way to similar. For someone not full on into 3D modelling and animation, they are basically the same program. |

well, 3DS Max 2013 is all set! that was the earliest version i could get, it only lasts for 3 years, but by that time i'll probably be done, or have money to buy it. Anyways, after i upload my minecraft R.O.B., i'll get to work on Broken R.O.B..  |
