This is quite literally the worst thing that could happen to me...

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

Frigging vertices are inside one another :notimp:

And wireframe view BARELY helps...

I hate when that happens, it's the part I hate about vertices is when legs are inside each other or some crap like that.

The best way to deal with problem vertices like that is to rig as much as I can to the main leg bone, rotate the bone significantly far enough, and manually select each vert that didn't move with the bone until it's completely separated.

I usually go to "EditMesh" then select each element using the 3D Cube shape, in case you didn't know.

On a side note

@Thomas: I don't get it.

Thanks, and a secondary option? Delete the polygons of one leg, clone the other, "Mirror it" and bam, two separate legs.

I do what gravity said when I have to rig characters with legs like that. then use wireframe to separate parts that are still messed up or has verts that are very close and difficult to separate.

Thanks for the advice guys

After the legs, the only thing that will be left are his left hand fingers and then some polishing of his arms. Then it's on to the next model...

I just can't wait to rig wings...

Normally, I would release one Dry per week, but this is a special weekend, so I'll release 3. Third one is to come soon, perhaps tomorrow.

Temp textures.
