Question: Which Type of release would you want when we hit a stable V1 (Basic movment will be inculded in all, how much is yet to be said)
A and B attacks with smash's. No taunts/Final Smash/Gear Second
A and B attacks, with final smash. No smash's/Taunts/Gear Second
 A attacks, smash's, final smash. No B attacks/Gear Second/Taunts
B attack, smash's, taunts. No A attacks/Final smash/gear secound

    His attacks don't string well, hes one of the most light weight characters, and hes not to fast. Plus his final smash's harm him as well. I'd say he balances well
    luffy on gear 2nd will need to be fast imo but yeah your right we can only wait and see what will come out of it since mariodk is gonna psa this it will be preety neat xD

    Gear 2nd Luffy will almost be a totally different character >_>;

    But yeah, Luffy's play style is a bit unique but still balanced. While his attacks have good range and damage, pretty much all of them have a lot of start up. Like... the Down smash's AttackLw4Start is like 25 some odd frames. Thats a lot considering most smash attacks are like 5-10 if not lower for the really fast smash attacks.

    And whats more, Gomu Gomu no Pistol is more relatable to a Falcon Punch. Huge Start up... huge payoff if you connect. Rocket.... Might actually kill you if you aren't careful and his recovery is subpar at best. But he's strong. So he's pretty balanced.

    And what I'm thinking is that Gears second shouldn't be able to be activated until you're at least at 75-100% Damage. I don't really like waiting until 100% cause in most cases you die before you get to enjoy it. I would actually prefer it if it was a time thing. Like Chaos Control or Mario's metal cap. But instead of giving him an effect thats temporary, he gets Gears2nd.

    Anywhoo, Gears2nd is sure to be fun when the model is ready.  Jet pistol and Jet Gatling...

    nuff said.

    If only hacking Brawl paid bills.

    True, and he dosn't get any heavier in gear secound. 75% it is. But I'm keeping the timed cut off limit at 200%

    yeah gear 2nd at 75 and losing it at 200 sounds good imo

    About that luffy animation. I must say I really like his aniamation everything looks so smooth and realy Luffyesque. There is one thing that bothers me though. From what I can remember when luffy attacks when his arm is going for the actual attack (that is after the stretch back and returning to his body, when it goes to the front) I remember It going in a really straight trajectory. When boincing back It did had that bouncy effect, but when the punch is actually happening and starts going from his body to the front I think It should go either straight or almost. That's just my opinion but it's up to you.

    I'll look into that. I see what you're saying but the punch can't have too much of a curve in it or it could miss a properly placed  opponent due to the curve. So I'll add that to my list of things to do this weekend since I'm not gonna have internet again for the weekend.

    I'll also try and start PSAing him if I finish the basic animations. Pervy wants to do the Final Smashes, Taunts and wins and stuff, so I'll see what I can do about the Grabs and the rest of his unfinished animations.

    if you can PSA "A" attacks it will be fine by me xD "B" attacks/gear second mode i am not sure will be easy so handle them

    my luffy will stay on marth so i can get SFX pack
    while sasuke will get .rel ported (i still dont got any Marth hacks beside sasuke/the old oneslot luffy model import but no PSAs)
