Edit: Bollocks. Doesn't say "Ready to capture" on the upper-left corner of window. What the hell is wrong with
this thing!!?

I give up, that settles it, I give up.

If you don't mind me asking, what game are you trying to rip from?
Also, what version of Dolphin and 3d Ripper DX are you using?

burning questions? contact me at bjelkiers.tumblr.com

3DX Ripper 1.8.0, the only one I could download (1.8.1 is a dead link),
Dolphin Version: 3.0-721-g0e1348c_L102_x86_ICC
D3D 9 GPU plugin is the currently selected

Star Fox Adventures and Super Smash Bros Brawl (it doesn't matter what GCN/Wii game I try to rip from), just to see if it actually extracts the data I need, but no matter what I do, IT WILL NOT DISPLAY "READY TO RIP" on the effing screen!

MAN this is exasperating. I don't see how the hell so many other people can use this program when I clearly don't have the skills to use it. This sucks balls.

I guess my underpowered Intel Core i7 2670QM and nVidia GT555M 1GB GDDR5 GPU combined isn't powerful enough to run this acclaimed program.

Guess I can't be the Brawl modder I desired to be after all.

I can make 3DX Ripper work on the family's PC, but ONLY on the family's PC (it doesn't work on the other 2 PCs) but the thing is that the models comes out flat when exported as OBJs... so I un-installed it. Guess the model I wanted to rip from a N64 game for the ''surprise'' on my model port thread would have to be canceled after all...:'(
I lost EVERYTHING from my DropBox storage due to the server crashing, so I no longer have my hacks on the Vault... Sorry! :(

Hey I've been wondering, can you rip models from a modded version of Final Fantasy VII?
NNID: Cha0sKnight     3DS FC: 4768-7680-2509

Wow! Thanks! Be sure to get the textures, too. When I'll be done with the rigging, I think I'll collab you for the help. Oh, and do you have the game right now or not?

Hey, im new to all of this, but can you tell me how to rip the models. I cant seem to find anything.

So I have 3D ripper dx, 3ds max, and dolphin, but after I i capture the frame i dont know what to do, or how to convert it into a file compatible with brawlbox.

(Edit): What I am trying to do specifically is rip aang from into the inferno, and another character from a japanese game (Inazuma Eleven Strikers 2012 Xtreme)

As I was making an SSP for this, I went and discovered that this place is named "Will's Cage."

If you care to perhaps give it a more official title.

that models you capture should be in "Documents\3DReaperDX\Frames" folder.
you will need 3dsmax to clean up and rig the models to use them in brawl

I really gotta see if there is a way to fix the transparency on that stage.

I'm already ripping from IE Strikers. If you need a model from there, I can get it for you.

Demon, at first someone wanted to give me the n64 model but the guy said it is awful-looking (polygon-shaped), that he can't TurboSmooth it (Creepypasta anyone?) or T-Stance it (the model's parts just messes-up like God-Knows-What...) and he doesn't have any textures... *sigh...* Guess I'll have to wait until you get the ISO of the 20th Kirby Anniversary or something...
