Trouble replacing Castle Siege

I'm trying to port the Dracula's Castle stage from the new Project: M demo over Castle Siege in Brawl-, but I keep getting a freeze. I used the stage switcher to make a .rel for Luigi's Mansion (which I believe is the stage Dracula's Castle is based on normally) over Castle Siege and placed it in the correct folder, then renamed the .PAC STGEMBLEM.pac and placed it where it needed to be. Whenever I try to load the stage, it freezes. I've replaced several different stages with and without .rels before, so I don't understand what's causing the problem. I'm pretty sure it's stage specific, but I can't figure out why I can't replace Castle Siege specifically. Any ideas?

Have you tried playing the game with out the hacks

I hadn't thought to check that before, but everything seems to be working fine in vBrawl. I took my SD card out and played a match there with no problems.

I don't know if Castle Siege is replaceable, haven't tried it myself since I like Castle Siege...
but anyway remember Castle Siege is a multi-pac stage (like Metal Gear, Spear Pillar, etc.)
name the files like this and see what happens...

STGEMBLEM_00.PAC
STGEMBLEM_01.PAC
STGEMBLEM_02.PAC
