Umm, does anyone know how to do this? I tried editing the T-pose to do it, but it didn't work at all... Isn't that how you should do it?

Well.... there's a few ways you can do it. You can...
-Try making the texture transparent, though this doesn't work about 90% of the time -Vertex hack the shield away, though this method is older and probably not worth it -Make a one-slot size mod by scaling the shield bone down to a really small value in every animation -Import Link's model into 3DS Max and delete the shield model, then re-rig the single bind objects and reimport him. This may not work well since Link uses SHP0 if I remember correctly, and it's a bit annoying to get that functioning properly
