You can't insert sound.wav from the super sawndz folder. That's a temp file that is a copy of the sound you selected. So when Super Sawndz tries to copy sound.wav over itself it blows up.
I like the "it blows up part"

but yah the sound.wav in the program folder thing isnt required anymore

If the File (sfx) is red (over 0xDDDDD) how do you decrease the filesize

I think you have to make the wav file shorter

If they weren't customized then select should be 0x23B8B
Try playing them, do they sound right? It's possible the brsar got corrupted and you'll need to start over.
Compare the sounds in select to an unaltered brsar

Again, if you want to make wiimote sounds, drop them to 6000hz to save on space. You can do this with audacity.

that group is probably corrupted and is missing binary values the game actually is looking for to play them and isnt finding them... try starting over... MAKE SURE the wav is MONO (1-channel)  the rate is 6KHz

Try renaming sndconv.exe to something else and inserting the sound. Super Sawndz should print out what files it see's, copy and paste that here.

    I got this

Inserting wav you got knocked the out.wav
Missing sndconv.exe: unable to convert wav file
This is what I see in the folder with Super Sawnds:
    C:\Users\Robert.Joe-PC\Downloads\supersawndz_debug\dsptool.dll
    C:\Users\Robert.Joe-PC\Downloads\supersawndz_debug\empty.wav
    C:\Users\Robert.Joe-PC\Downloads\supersawndz_debug\hfdy.exe
    C:\Users\Robert.Joe-PC\Downloads\supersawndz_debug\readme.txt
    C:\Users\Robert.Joe-PC\Downloads\supersawndz_debug\sawndz.exe
