I'm trying to make Link shoot fire arrows, but I can't find his arrows sub action offset in Smash Attacks to change it, or his bombs. Do anyone know how to find them. Thanks in advance.

    The model for Arrows are in the FitMotionEtc file, btw so I don't think they can be edited so easily...

    So how does everyone else edit them? People change Link's stuff to all types of things, and I saw a PSA to make Link's arrows ice, so how do I go about changing them to fire for my PSA project?

    I believe you edit the floating points, which you will need a hex editor for.

    How exactly you do it is beyond me.

    The hitbox for his arrows is actually in a subroutine ;3
    Its offset 1CFB8 and you shouldn't change much other than the parameters inside of the special offensive collision unless you know what you're doing.

    Edit: Bombs are actually item-articles so they're in the common3 and currently is only editable if you use tabuu to check locations and know what you're doing.

    So the bottom line is that what I thought would have been a simple Smash attack edit, becomes a trial and error with a hex editor.......oh well.

    My project is making a Dark Link over Toon Link that retains Links style, but adds some evil and uniqueness to him. Thanks anyways, I guess.

    Not for the arrows... They're a subroutine in smash attacks, easiest edit possible... But what did you want to do with the bombs?

    I don't know, add a little more punch to them and maybe add some darkness as well. Since the Link over Toon Link PSA screws the hookshot throw, I changed it to a  OOT forward roll. Not really useful, but better than a glitchy throw.

    Hmm, well I'm not the best at hex especially since I haven't messed with it in quite a while but Link's bomb data offset is 9C0 (use goto in a hex editor) and it's length is 24.. If I remember how to find offensive collisions in hex doing that for you will be a piece of cake Smiley
