I dunno what's worse, the fact there are [censored]ty hacks being uploaded even more, or the fact that retards actually look at those [censored]ty uploads as "quality" and "effort".

Yeah. I do agree that the quality has gone down by a lot. That's one reason why I just don't have the will to PSA anymore. Because I know that it's going to be flushed away by low quality submissions. And all that time and effort will be meaningless.
I don't care about downloads, it's mainly credit that I would like or to have people enjoy my work and give recognition. Most new people don't even know that I'm a PSA maker. Or if they do, they only give me credit for my half assed Silver PSA which saps away my interest.
People wanting an overly popular character, regardless of quality (ex: Shadow) while ignoring less popular characters that have decent quality also saps my interest.
The last PSA that I started on that is almost complete began more than a month ago. I keep saying that I'll make more characters and finish up current characters, but I just end up losing interest and putting the project on hold. I just wish I could find that spark that made me want to PSA in the first place again.

Seeing this almost makes me afraid to upload anymore hacks to be honest.
Don't make this into a tragic situation. Your greatest critic is yourself. If you are pleased with what you are making, then you shouldn't give a damn about what anyone else thinks. |

Well I know my hacks are from the best. I would consider them DECENT at best but when I saw that Arceus in the "Most Popular Hack" section I was actually hyped. So I clicked on it and I saw the photos and I was like c'mon maaan WTF is this sh1t? Just by the pictures you could clearly see that this guy just slapped the Arceus model over Lucario and called it a day. He did the same with Giratina as well.
I'm guessing it got so many downloads because people who DON'T hack brawl cannot tell when a model is properly imported over another character correctly from photos.
Perfect example:
There's a Cubone over Squirtal hack
In the preview pictures Cubone is T posing in ALL of them
that has 530 downloads, REALLY?

This may sound absurd but.......maybe the vault could be divided into 2 sections for hacks? like one section for the advance hackers and once section for the inexperienced hackers? idk..... |

Those two sections already exist, they're called "Brawl Vault" and "Recycle Bin". People are just doing a bad job at throwing things in the second list. |
