Hello all,
Zurui here, and I am one of those who have been reaping the benefits of all the hard work many of you have been doing to make all of these incredible mods. First of all, I would like to say thank you. You are all truly talented, and I believe you put more thought and effort into making some of these mods than the creators of the actual game did.
I know to you it may just be a little code tweaking here and file replacing there, but the end result is a completely new experience, and for that, you should be applauded.
On that note, something occurs to me. Many of you make mods that you would like to see, and many take requests for mods others would like to have. This is very generous, and again, great work. But I can't help but wonder: what would happen if several, many, or (dare I dream), all of you teamed up to work together as a whole to make one grand ultimate mod. It would very literally be a game-changer.
Think of it, you could in effect create an entirely new game, using Brawl as the core, but spring boarding off of it to make it grow and develop into something extraordinary.
All you need is one idea, one goal that you can work towards together, and with enough time and dedication, you will reach that goal.
I understand that you all have lives, you must be very busy in them, I know. But in the spare time you have to create these individual mods one at a time, think of how much more effective that time would be spent if you were working toward a grand purpose. I can't make any promises, but I'm sure if your end result is something desirable to a great amount of people, many would be willing to donate financially for your efforts.
As for the end goal, I do have one little idea. Now bear in mind, I am just a lowly gamer who enjoys all the work and efforts you all have been putting into improving this game, making it beyond awesome. So forgive me if my suggestion just seems too ridiculous. Though I believe my idea as a whole, the idea of gathering a super team together for the challenge of this ultimate project, now that is something worth considering.
My simple small suggestion is this.
Let it sink in before you write it off completely.
Marvel VS Disney VS Nintendo
Now hear me out.
We all know how wildly successful the Marvel VS Capcom series is. Making a Marvel VS Nintendo would, in my opinion, be just as good if not better. Also, since this is built off of Brawl, you already have plenty of Nintendo characters in the game, so there would be no need to add any (unless you so desire, of course.)
With regards to the Disney aspect, again I know it may sound ridiculous at first. But did it not also seem ridiculous when you first heard Square Enix was going to have a game that would combine the elements and characters of Final Fantasy and Disney together? Well Kingdom Hearts has also become wildly popular, and ridiculous though it may seem, it works.
Again, this is just a small suggestion on my part. Why not throw your own ideas out there? Maybe even start a poll. Once we know what the people want, then we can all start working toward that goal.
