Ayayaya I've been wanting to do Touhou's myself but I can't work out how to freaking put MMD models into brawl. (ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO TEXTURES :C) I have a ton of failed attempts. =C

you mean those odd times when you use the pmd import script and then the whole model is a single polygon so you cant apply the textures right?
use the detatchID script for that and problem solved ewe

check the filename of the textures in the materials section, you should name it to "normal names" to prevent any glitch, because we all now MMD models has japanese filenames on the textures most of the times, and make sure the name is exactly the one of the texture you imported.
if still doesnt work, open the material editor in 3ds max and drag each texture in those spheres, then drag them over the objects that has to be
