Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to do the requests...I've just been really busy as of late. For now, I'm going to close requests, but maybe some time in the future, I'll open them up again. I tried my hand at making a texture from scratch, to learn a bit about how it's done, and here is the result:

I actually started this right after Smash 4 was announced, and planned to have it as a Smash 4 WiiU/3DS hybrid, but it changed a bit in the process. Hhe base texture had actually been finished for a while, but I wanted to get recolours done before I actually released it! And I finally had some time to sit down and finish them, so here it is:

I'm curious to see if people like this, and if I should bother releasing my PSD files for easy recolours. I might make some more characters in the future, if it's well received.

I honestly think that's the closest-looking texture to the actual Smash 4 Mario ones out there.

Yeah, it's pretty accurate. I like it. Though, I honestly like KTH's texture on the overall a bit better.

Hey everyone, I got a few things done today!

First off, New Smash (name pending) Dr. Mario:

Made to go with my New Mario from before. Same as before, I remade every texture except the eyes, for texture practice.

The requests are in there too. I had noticed a few minor details that I had missed before, so if you've downloaded any of the Mario portraits before, I'd recommend re-downloading them.

I couldn't make this one one since BrawlBox doesn't have shaders yet. I could make it at a later date, but that's for when I have time. I do have the older one I made in the Old 1 folder, though.

Yours looks quite good too! I probably won't be adding any fire to mine though, since I'm personally nto a fan of effects on my CSPs. I am curious though, what did you use to make it? All you'd need now is a few more flames coming out, and it'll look quite close I think.

Alright, so Velen pointed out to me that the whites on my New Mario and Dr. Mario textures were too bright, so I toned them down a bit.
Comparisons:

For the original Mario, it was only the gloves that were too bright. The Mars Mario on the left still has the original gloves, while the original Mario on the right has the newer toned down gloves.

The new Mario CSP's look absolutely amazing! Totally gonna start using them
I also love your new Mario texture! (even tho it seems to use that weird looking shading effect..)
Do you plan on doing these "new Smash" textures for some of the other characters too?

Thank you! I do plan to make more of them, but I might be a bit busy in the coming weeks. I'd still like to try making a few others though, maybe Took Link? My mind seems to change a lot.
