    i have an idea. let's write the new fighter files to the xml of riivolution. i'm gonna test the first one i edited. i'll edit if it works

    edit. got it to work. that's how you do it.

    add this to your xml

    <file external="/private/wii/app/RSBE/pf//fighter/nameoffighter/FitnameXX.pcs" disc="/fighter/nameoffighter/FitnameXX.pcs" create= "true"/>
    dont forget to add the pac files too

    do this for every new slot and it should be flawless now

    i'm gonna work on a xml for this. give me a few hours at the most.

    That's the way I've done it for the CSE and stage expansion, although I use a modified Modlauncher xml as opposed to Beyond's, so the filepaths are a lot different for me. I would've tested this out but on account of not being at home at the moment, I can't exactly do it.

    One thing to note is that you just can't add a folder to the xml to save time as opposed to adding individual files. It'll replace all the files in that particular folder, but it will never actually create a file, so unfortunately you have to add an entry for every single pac and pcs...one of the few advantages the FPC has over Riivo.

    currently working on a xml current progress mario through luigi done starting in the order of cbliss order for fighter pacs.
    so mario is first and then dk etc. i'm gonna get it done as fast as i can.

    you dont even needing Gecko OS cuz if using Gecko OS+editing iso for SFX packs it freeze but if you using Dolphin´s own Gecko OS: Dolphin folder/User/GameConfig/RSBE01.txt add file patch code+these codes
    it comeplete works aswell
    just add the codes
    I am having trouble doing it either way, I just remembered my ISO has been edited for sounds so the gecko OS thing is out of the question, I've got my codes on the RSBE. txt now instead, but nothing happens, the only difference is one of robs textures appear to be wally's ( i think thats what it is) but theres no freezing or other costumes at all.
    whats going on?

    It basically tells riivolution to compare the fighter folder on a SD or whatever with the folder on the disk and use the subfolders as well as well as create the extra files if they exist.
    It is what I use for my hacks already, minus the create part.

    What you are doing now though, does it work?
    Also when you added <folder external="/private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/fighter" disc="/fighter/" recursive="true" resize="true" create="true"/>, did you still have the line that said <folder external="/private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/fighter" disc="/fighter/" recursive="true" resize="true"/>? Because if you did, Riivo will ignore the second one on the xml. You will also have to add the path for EVERY file in the fighter folder if you plan on file linking instead of folder linking for the same reason.

    My experience was that riivo ignored commands that linked a single file if there was a command that linked a folder. That being said, I am still interested if the way you are doing it right now works.
    Edit:
    While you are working on that, I am going to work on making recolors and setting up a thread for people to help with them. Unless said thread exists already.
