    Wow , everything is looking great so far!
    And incase I missed it , will there be a female Villager too? You know , as an alternate costume.
    Also , why don't you guys make him more like his SSB4 version?
    For example , in the developer direct , he used the slingshot as his Back Air , why not do that here too? Doesn't have to be an exact copy off SSB4, juse more based off that I guess?
    Also loving the taunt ideas you guys got there.

    glad i'm helping to change your mind about the Villager.  Animal Crossing is just such a good game, hence why i'm making sure this PSA is as perfect as i can make it.

    And incase I missed it , will there be a female Villager too? You know , as an alternate costume.


    i haven't really thought of doing the alternate costumes yet, but a female Villager is always an option.  it'll just require a little more work on the modeling end, since the model was custom made, so i'd have to make a new Head for her.  i'm not going to change the animations for her though.

    Also , why don't you guys make him more like his SSB4 version?


    because some people were complaining that all we were doing was copying the Smash 4 stuff.  there will be some of the Smash 4 stuff included, like the Up B Balloon float, and probably a few others.  of course though, the entire moveset wasn't shown, so we'd need to improvise at least some of the moves no matter what, and i already had a moveset written from a long time ago when i originally started the Villager PSA that went nowhere.



    so should i keep posting gifs of the animations i'm making, or just leave it at 'i made X and Y today'?

    but for now, the Run.  the TransN movement isn't applied for this, otherwise it'd be a bit hard to see it.

    Yea , the female Villager would just need different hair I guess , not animated of course. Also a pink shirt or something lol

    I love the .gifs , but incase it's too much trouble creating them you might aswell just tell us what you did without any .gifs.

    Run looks great! I haven't been this excited for a Brawl hack since SDoom's Bomberman.

    so yesterday i once again changed stuff on the model, but mainly to help yield better results with facial expressions.  so today i've taken full advantage of it.  for example, i wouldn't have been able to give him the proper expressions for this particular animation...



    it's the Win1.  i only realized a moment ago that it looks like it ends abruptly, but that's where the Win1Wait comes in.  so just pretend that the last frame of his arm being held up is extended for longer.

    so with some help, i figured out how to do the Model Changer thing in PSA.  plus, i've made a few more animations, like jumping and stuff.  so have some in game pics without everything showing.  also, don't mind how smiley he is, the VIS0 isn't behaving in game, even though it is in BrawlBox.


    the TurnRun/TurnRunBrake.  how could i not include this one.




    first Jump.  kind of Marioish, but that's because i have no idea what his jump would look like.




    second Jump.  pretty standard forward roll type thing.  again, no real idea there.




    and finally, FallAerial.  not sure why, but i kind of think it's funny.

    why thank you.  i do what i can to make him the best i can.


    have you sent me the newest model? not sure if you did or not.

    just did.  i couldn't quite remember either, but the only thing the newest model has changed is that the face parts are separate.  that way i can show the eyes and mouths at different times, instead of 5 or 6 set faces.

    so it was raining in my town yesterday, and it gave me an idea for the Villager's first unofficial official attack.



    i phrase it that way because it's not on the list of attacks, but is a bit more interesting than the one i had before.  plus, a use for the Umbrella.  so it's still Pit's attack, all i ended up doing was changing the animation, but it just fit so well that i couldn't not do it once i thought of it.  yes, the Umbrella spins.  also, ignore the blade glow, i need to remove that.
