Do I need riivolution to do the "Cloud Strife platinum edition" Hack

Alright first of all I just started hacking brawl so I might have missed something in the programming, but the problem is I put all the files where they belong. (In case you didn't read the subject I'm trying to do the "Cloud Strife platinum edition" hack) And when I turn on brawl everything is fine until I get to the character selection screen and then it freezes. (I put the selector over "BRAWL" press A and then it freezes and buzzes) So I'm running the latest version of the "GECKO OS" is that my problem or do I need riivolution or is it something else? Thanks in advance.

Remove cloud and see if it freezes. Sounds silly but do it.

Make sure the rel file is in the module folder

X://private/wii/app/rsb*/pf/module

Be ure to add the codes included in the readme.

Riivolution is for adding extras like goku sound effects over pit for example. It's not necessary.

Ok how do you mean "Remove Cloud"? I tried it later with some different hacks (Cleared the SD card and put new hacks on) like "Assassin Link", "Captain America Falcon" Textures and it didn't freeze. And also do you mean add the .txt file to the RSBE01 code file? And Thanks for the quick response.

Right now you should have a RSBE01.gct in your "codes" folder. Inside that folder you should also have a RSBE01.txt file(Not always the case)

What you would do and should get in the bait of doing is opening Ocarina or Code Manager and opening the RSBE01.txt file.

That will display all of your codes.
Then you would copy and paste the new code you got from the txt file in the cloud folder into Ocarina/Code manager.

Store modifications and export the newly created code as file name RSBE01.gct and overwrite the gct you currently have in your codes folder. Sounds like a lot but it's not.

For your freezing also, remember to put he .rel file into the module folder nd you should not have any issues if you follow those steps.

Ok I added the .txt file and I removed all the files except the models and the .rel files and it works. Thanks for your help, Renova. I'll play around with the programming and see what i'm doing wrong. Again thanks for your help.
