I got a copy of brawl a few days ago and whenever I try to use riivolution I get a error dump. The error happens after I click "launch". Also before you ask it's not the mods. I copied my friends sd card with all his mods and it works just fine on his regular wii. And for the love of God don't tell me to format my sd card.

Your friend's sd card could have the file patch code in it. It won't hurt to double check. What XML are you using?

Look under the Riivolution folder on the root of your SD card (not in the apps folder). there should be two or three files in there, one of them being an XML.

there's one called "super smash bros.xml" another called "SSBBtemplate.xml" and another another called "smashstage7.xml"

Weird things can happen if you have more than one XML file. Try using this version of Riivolution: http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=16990 Replace the current version on the root of your SD card with this one. |

I will try that. With my friends regular wii everything works just fine. And I literally just copied everything from his sd card.

Do you just get a black screen, does it freeze at the strap menu, other, etc. I need a little more info as to what your situation is.

you cant use riivo on vwii it only works for mario kart wii not brawl.
