I don't think the location would be different for Riivolution, but I'm not sure. Just try making a "Codes" folder in the base of your SD card and see how that works.

It depends on your XML file. If you could post it here in
then I could tell you pretty easy. If you need an XML then tell me where you put your brawl hacks and I could lend you a simple one. :3

I put a combo code for shadow and cloud codes under the codes file but they don't show up in game

I don't have an XML files so I could use one c: but what's the file size? My sd only has 500 mgb left is it true we can only use 2gb sds for brawl modding? I heard that in a tutorial

I've had this issue myself and I use Gecko. My Sonic over DK didn't have an AAA combo, even when I used the code or an IC-Constant code. Who do you have Shadow and Cloud over? I could try to make a perfect module file for you so you won't need the codes (didn't work over DK for some reason for me).

Shadow over Game and Watch and Cloud over Olimar(The second one under top downloads) could you also find a way to make the Pillar CSS screen too? The one with the alloys giga bowser warioman and the individual ice climbers added?

Nice. I have an Ike Module over Olimar already so that'll take no time. With the module file, you can even take Cloud hacks that are meant for Ike (well, all Cloud hacks use Ike as a base) and rename them to FitPikmin files and they will all work. I have an Ike module on Dedede and I moved the Cloud hack I had on Ike to Dedede. Works fine. Here's the Ike module for Olimar.

    http://www.mediafire.com/download/dsz2dnx0jpqh5y2/ft_pikmin.rel

I actually have 2 Pikmin modules on my mediafire and I can't remember if they're both the same. I'm pretty sure all my Olimar modules are Ike modules, so this SHOULD be the one.

And here's a Sonic over Game & Watch module. Shadow's a Sonic hack so it'll let you use any Sonic hack on him, including all Shadow hacks and whatnot.

    http://www.mediafire.com/?eohyy9fnrh6c3cq

For some reason, the perfect module for Sonic didn't work right over Donkey Kong, but all the other characters I have modules on (Wario, Dedede, Lucas, Diddy Kong, Metaknight, Game & Watch, Peach, Luigi, and Olimar) work perfectly. That should give you no trouble, though Olimar and Game & Watch probably won't have any sound effects or voices for the first match or 2 (possibly more, and sometimes has sfx right away), but they don't need any codes to work at all. And they should have their AAA jab combo.

As for the Pillar CSS, is this the hack you mean?

You may have to turn off your anti-virus software or temporarily tel it not to block stuff while you download them. My computer gives me the option to ignore when it tries to block me from downloading anything. That's weird that it won't let you download the module though. Works for me :/

I hope I edited this right. This module should let you use all of Lucario's hacks over Ness without needing any codes. Lemme know if it works.

    http://www.mediafire.com/?1vj16tbntst0i82

Oh, I see. This one is for solo Ice Climbers? Well if you want, there's one that gives that to you, and more.

    http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=34388

The CSS is dark flaming blue. The random icon is made to look like Ditto, and it adds Giga Bowser, Warioman, Nana, Popo, Sheik, Zero Suit Samus, Charizard, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Red Alloy, Blue Alloy, Green Alloy, and Yellow Alloy to your CSS icons. The codes in it make all the new icons/characters work (Warioman never works for me though) and the custom random code makes sure that the random icon will not pick Giga Bowser, Warioman, the Alloys, Nana alone, or Popo alone (which works for me because Warioman would freeze if chosen randomly).

All the new extra icons are all in the rightmost column. The extra Captain Falcon is Red Alloy. The extra Mario is Yellow Alloy. The extra Zelda is Blue Alloy. The extra Kirby is Green Alloy. The extra Bowser is Giga Bowser. The extra Wario is Warioman. The extra Ice Climbers is Popo. And the extra R.O.B. is Nana.

You just download that, add the codes in with your code manager, and then put the sc_selcharacter_en.pac in your pf/menu2 folder. That should be all you need to get it to work.

I prefer this hack because I KNOW it doesn't randomly freeze when I load my character select screen. All the other codes I tried for Giga and Company would sometimes freeze on me. Unstable or outdated codes I'm guessing.

But anyway, for the Pillar CSS, that should be all you have to do too, if that's the one you want (I just prefer the dark flaming blue CSS). You add the codes given to you in the download with your code manager, and put the file in your menu2 folder. If you tried and it's not working, I think I know the problem. In the download, the file is called "sc_selcharacter.pac", but like I said above, I heard it has to be called "sc_selcharacter_en.pac" for Riivolution. So if you want that hack and you tried it and it doesn't work, try renaming the pac file to that and see if it works.

Still not sure what to do about the Sonic download. You'll just have to find a way to stop your firewall from stopping it briefly :/

None of the codes are working at all? That's a different kind of problem then. I'm not sure what it is. If I knew you used the same type of gct file as I do, I could try making one for you to download.

Do you use a .gct type file for your codes? RSBE01?

Yes that's the one if you do make the gct file could you remove tripping also there is a popular mod which adds 20 new stages over custom but It requires a code  and make it so the alloys have the stats of a normal fighter because I've come to understand they have less health then a normal fighter even when they are playable but I wanted  to thank you and you're being a great help and a great friend also about the lucario over ness module I will have to get back to you on it because I haven't been to a computer since I got the Ike module which worked perfect by the way

Ok. I can do this, or at least most of it. Do you have the codes for the stuff you want in a text document? As long as I have the codes, I should be able to make a gct file out of them for you. I'm also not sure how many lines, but I know there's a limit to how many lines of code can be read before stuff starts not working, but it might not be the case with Riivolution.

I would need to ask a few questions though, regarding the codes.

First off, what codes do you have that you're trying to use?
Which CSS hack to you want, the Pillar one or the Dark Flaming Blue one (both have separate Nana and Popo)?

... actually I can't think of any other questions at the moment lol. You're welcome for whatever help I was able to help you with. I'm far from an expert. I've only been doing this for little over a month, and before that I knew nothing. Like you I asked questions here, but often got no answers. I would type my questions in Bing and Google searches and kind of leap-frog from one article to the next and gain little bits of information that not only told me what to do, but also broadened my understanding on HOW the hacks worked, so I could experiment on my own without having to follow what others did exactly. It's also good to save your entire SD card in a few locations on your computer as backups for when you make changes or run tests to either find a problem or test how a hack works. Anyway, Riivolution is still new to me, but in my searching I did read a fair amount about it. I hope the gct file then works for you, because I'm pretty sure Riivolution uses gct just like Gecko. It just doesn't need the file patch code.
