I never looked at the origonal's animations in BB. And swapping the jumps and stuff is unnecessary, I usually only change the attacks, the waits, the runs/walk, and the taunts. I leave everything else like the base because no one notices it really

That's what I mean, actually... But well... Jumps too, because when Saber jumps like Link... It looks kinda strange... At least for me... Since drogoth is gonna make her right handed... I'll have to remake the wait, walk, run and taunts...

I always notice if someone doesn't change those animations, go to the proper wait, or transition correctly lol. It's one of the first things i look at with psa.

I'll also whip up that SoS Marth pretty soon here.

I guess if the wait1 is a lot different than the "Unnecessary" animations, then they would need changing. But if they aren't too different and you turn on Pass Frame in PSA then the game adds a couple frames to compensate for the difference. Now if *insert animation here* ends in a significantly different pose then the others then yeah they probably need to be changed.
It might just be I'm lazy, or maybe there is logic to this^
But as a general rule doing silly little things like jumps or trips..etc... is a bad idea if your short on time

I could understand that. Pass Frame does work pretty good in most instances. Like you said if the Wait is too different, like if the char is facing the opposite direction as the original character or something, it would be a requirement. Though I do like the sense of completion that doing all the pointless stuff gives. Plus without a timeframe who's in a hurry? lol

Well... It's just that... I wanna have Saber completly different from Link... Time isn't a real problem... I'll focus on the attacks animation and coding, also on the stats... But for the animations like trips, jumps etc... That's way less prioritized...
Oh, and Genesis, you're not the worst at taking forever to release something... My 1st PSA for Toon Link took almost a year... And it's bad :-\ Fun to play with... But bad... :(

That means you have the EXACT same problem I have with Kokuto xD
I think some of links animations with a right handed sword actually don't look too bad. Im still going to change Kokuto's crouch, jump, and fall but that's really it. The only reason is Kokuto's default stance is with his sword over his should and links is in his crouch-ish default pose.

I skip the little animations cause I almost always have a "next" project Im working on(Like I simultaneously work on atleast two things at once) and I don't bother with those when I could be doing important attacks for another char.
And I usually give myself a timeframe, like I try to finish all non-specials within two weeks.

You could make it an air neutral special. you don't need start or loop animations.
