@ LookItsLink
Just a question, is it possible to port specific vertices of a polygon of one edit onto the same polygon on another edit?
An example would be taking a Rosalina vertex hack, and the ponytail vertex hack for peach, and porting the vertex points from the ponytail onto Rosalina so she has a ponytail. Is this possible with 3Ds max or would you have to start from scratch with the ponytail on Rosalina?
It's not a request, it was just an example to illustrate my question. This would really help as I'm going to try vertex editing again soon.

Not in 3ds Max that I know of, you'll have to start over. It could be done by hexing (dingoberriz has done it this way), though that takes some luck and trial and error to pin-point exactly where in the file a group of vertices is located.

I've been meaning to figure out Peachs hair. I have most of it down. I know where her arms and torso vertices are to hex. Hair is different though. It starts in the front and wraps back and forth. You can view the vertices coordinates in brawl box so I use that to help even if it is hard to understand.
EDIT: Halfway done putting the emo bangs on Helmetless Samus. I know where the other half of the bangs are too.

Windows calculator ftw eh? Also, furry fans unite! Cats Ears Zelda is out. And officially released Enhanced Sheik. Oh ya, dingoberriz and songelfemy you each get cookies.

Nope no windows calculator. More like hex out a section (like line 0- 4A0) and see what happens. I just have to hex the right side burn and its done. The lines for it are in between the tip of the ponytail and the front. Should I put this in brawlvault btw?

Sure you can put it in there, as long as (I probably don't have to even mention this to you, because I'm pretty sure you will anyway) you give credit. Also, is it possible to have any of the hair length hacks w/o the boobs? that would be great
The most troublesome thing about that is that the top half of her torso and her hair (including the top of her head) are all in the same vertex set. I actually had to redo the hair lengths for this release. So basically I'd have to go back into each one of those and reduce the size, or start from scratch (which would be worse). EDIT: Why you delete your comment? o.O

I can look at Zelda if you want. Saves you the trouble. And things like that are usually broken up between the first and second half of the vertex in hex editor.

That'd be super if you did that.

I can't find her right sideburn anymore Now it looks weird and goes in her face a little bit. Is this ok?

@dingoberriz Are you asking me or Sanitys Theif? He said it wasn't a request, just an example to describe his question. Btw, where is it going in her face?

On the very inside of the side burn. And one of the vertices connecting the side of her hair to the front of it isn't right so it looks weird. At least it does to me. I spent a bit of time on it after all. Somebody requested Rosalina's head on the Samus Suit anyway so I'm doing one with and one without the ponytail.
Looking into Zelda now and I'm already afraid. So many damn lines...it's cool though.
I'm probably gonna start a thread for combining existing vertex hacks. After I finish Zelda.
