sd card

can someone please explain to me what I need to format the Sd card so i can download gecko onto my wii? I read all these tutorials, and they say "go to your apps folder" and "go to wii/apps/___" and i dont understand how to create these. Are they supposed to be automatically created by the Home Brew?

SD Card:/apps/Gecko/boot.dol

Here is the order for Brawl PAL
SD Card:/private/wii/app/RSBP/

NTSC:

SD Card:/private/wii/app/RSBE/

Texture Hacks for Character Order

SD Card:/private/wii/app/RSBP or RSBE/pf/fighter/charactername/

Texture hacks for Stages:

SD Card:/private/wii/app/RSBP or RSBE/pf/stage/

etc...

if the folders are not already there, then you just right click and press New folder, and rename it to what it's supposed to be. Do that for all of the folders.

where do i get RSBP and RSBE? And i have boot.elf, but not boot.dol . do i need anything else from the gecko folder? or only the boot file that i dont have? and finally, is charactername a folder or the actual character file?

okay, do you have a PAL or NTSC Brawl?

??? i dont know what those are. I was using a memory card that i had to reboot with pics after i temporarily used it, so now i have a smaller one. and i have no folders or anything. i only have the folders that you guys told me to make. I dont know what any of those are

Now you must tell what version of Brawl you have. If you have the U.S. version of the game, you create folders with RSBE. If you have European version of Brawl, create folders with RSBP.

Okay, the order for the Textures for u are:

character texture:
SD Card:/private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/fighter/"the Character you want"/ and here the texture hack

stage texture
SD Card:/private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/stage/melee/ here the texture hack

and are there any other files that are necessary? like how would i overwrite the character files?

u mean, how do you put in texture hacks or u mean model hacks / movesets

model hacks/movesets. now i am trying to do avatar ness and wisp, nothing for avatar ness, but for jiggly, i got her to become completely invisible for some reason, but she still had the same moves. Any ideas? is there any way we can instant message over this?
