How Do I prevent my Item Mods Keep Freezing?

ive been tinkering with my hack, changing the items. however, even though there just stuff like slight model edits or even JUST replacing textures my hack manages to glitch out. What could I have possibly done wrong? its just changing a simple image or model. Nothing should go wrong.

It's filesize Issues most likely. Because all the items are in one PAC file, you can't have too many edits. Model Edits in particular.

so how do I fix this issue? do I make sure each item is simply less than or equal to the item I am replacing?
