I see nothing OP about this character, with the possible exception of the UpB. He has an incredibly hard time killing most anyone (it takes at least 140% to kill. Ike could kill at 80-90%, and Fox can kill at 120% relatively easily), but he's fast and heavy. His air mobility is fine: It's pretty similar to Lucario's. For those complaining about the broken range of his aerial B, consider the startup lag and ending lag, coupled with Cloud's bad jump height and the fact that the move doesn't stop aerial momentum. The DAir now has sufficient landing lag and base knockback that it doesn't lead into combos, though it still isn't punishable. The FAir has a rather small hitbox in terms of vertical range, so it's difficult to hit with. Overall, his attacks seem to have high base knockback and good damage with not-so-great knockback growth. And his Blade Beam is not spammable in the least! It has too high Base Knockback and too much lag, along with not enough hitstun. Firaga takes forever to charge, so it's not really spammable either. If anything, it's rather lame so far as ranged attacks go: Higher charge time than Samus' Charge Beam, charge can't be stored, 18% damage, and can't kill even at 170%. On the other hand, it can't be reflected. Of course, this is all based on my experiences of using him in regular Brawl. I dunno what he'd be like in Brawl+, though.  /horriblylate

I found a combo that can be spammed SO MANY TIMES. The side-B has a 2 hit combo right? well if you preform the 2 hit combo with side-B then lean back, you can still be airborn, and use the side-b AGAIN. And you can keep repeating it over and over, even when the person is lying on the ground. Im pretty sure it does some where around 15% to 22% percent damage. This can be repeated over and over, and it's easy to preform. Pretty cheap cause I can defeat a lvl 9 easily with this combo, and it's REALLY cheap.

is it wrong that i killed sephiroth in 30 seconds with 5 stock with this psa? if so i dont want to be right. anyway this is my favorite moveset and i like seeing cloud totally broken (its fun to totally surprise my friends with him  ) which reminds me is there going to be another update to this? like is there going to be a SFX hack for him as well? just wondering.

Wow, I've been completely ignoring this thread. =3 I do acknowledge a number of moves are OP, including his air mobility. However, no renovation is planned as of right now, because Ike is simply REALLY annoying to work with. Even simply damage codes malfunction every now and then. If anyone really wants an edit to Cloud, post here. At most, it will be a number of nerfs...I don't see anything that needs buffing right now. But if all you want is a weaker Cloud, then share your opinion. =] - .Fade Edit: Nope, no SFX pack is planned for him. Why? I don't know how.

You should make Cloud's Up+B spike like it does in dissidia. But thats just me. Maybe a 45 degree angle then?

I think the main thing he needs is a slow down, he out speeds... Marth? It kinda doesn't make sense...
Air mobility is, as you said, one of his bigger issues, his air mobility is as good as Wario's... Couple that with insane range, speed, and power... You got someone almost as powerful as Meta Knight...
I really think this needs to be fixed... Sorry if I sounded rude, it's just the truth...You should make Cloud's Up+B spike like it does in dissidia. But thats just me. Maybe a 45 degree angle then?
Um... No, he only needs a nerf, I don't think a spike would be a good idea for that move...

I do agree with Data. The move is good as is, a spike would make it too good. I considered it tho. The Side-B spikes, if you didn't know

Meh...I don't think this set would fit Sephiroth. Of course what do I know? The only games I've seen him in action are Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2.

Like most people before me said, Cloud is definately overpowered. He has no landing lag or after lag on any smashes or recoveries. His B attack should at least be able to be reflected. As for the aerial B, that needs nerfed up. It's way too good as edge guarding.

I tested this Cloud thorougly a week or so ago and just stumbled upon this thread.
It is a little overpowered, but not much more than Metaknight on normal Brawl. His Neutral B is easily spammable, despite the minimal knockback.
My suggestion would be to make him just a bit slower in the air, less mobility overall, more like Ike. Neutral B could use a few more frames of startup and ending lag, but thats about it.
