Humble said down air into up-B. I don't know if that was a typo.
I obviously lack reading comprehension skills... >.> His B, his fireblast, is like MKs dair, only 3x as big. -__- Overpowered edgeguard...get! He can jump over the ledge, fireblast, down-B, up-B and essentially form an impenetrable wall of gimping chaos. Fireblast stops everything except airdodging through it, which the followup down-B will prevent, and then if they try to recover from that up-B will hit them out of their recovery as you rise to hog the ledge.
I may have read this wrong twice, but It seems he's talking about dair to vB to ^B. If I dont have SRS (selective reading syndrome), then that's pretty much what he said, to which i say "Ney."

Humble just says that his B, down-B and up-B are crazy edge guards.

I just love starting air combos with the side B, then just using either down b or up b

Yeah... I'm gonna have to agree with Humble, dude, Cloud needs to lose the projectiles... I don't see Cloud as a guy who needs them anyway... And he does have too much air mobility, kinda makes Wario inferior... Maybe down tone it a little? And give him some end lag. ...Although at least he doesn't have as good of a recovery as Meta Knight. And I love that final smash. And I like the side b, and down b.

I dont know much about final fantasy but I know that they use magic spells or casting and stuff. I do like the projectiles, I mean they aren't spammable so they're just fine. The down b in the air where he does like a mini omni slash could be a bit like the old one where it actually kept you inside it and hit you four times. But it was over powered so maybe the way it is now is better. I only dislike his backwards aerial where he slashes backwards but if he's in the air it's incredibly difficult to recover even with his new amped up B move. But I see it as a cost move, pretty strong move at the cost of possible no recovery hoping you finish them before you can fall to your doom. It's a nice psa I don't see much wrong with it.

@People who don't like the thought of projectiles on Cloud.
His moveset is based on Dissidia. He uses projectiles in Dissidia.

Oh... My bad... Heh... Sorry guys. ^.^; Well in that case, I guess they could stay... Though I do think that he is a little overpowered, maybe give him some landing lag on his air moves, and just a little tiny bit less kill power, but not too much of a nerf, just a little bit, the end lag on his moves will probably be enough after that... I'm sorry I sounded like a jerk... I do like the way he plays, he's just a little overpowered.

Make his projectile reflectable at least.

I don't think that's possible... I think it's impossible to make true projectiles from scratch...

Probably a few weeks late here, but I registered an account here specifically to provide feedback on this.
First, the obvious: On the whole, this is awesome! Very well done, and on the whole it "feels like Cloud" to me. He felt natural for the most part, only a few moves make me go "Huh?"
That said, I do have some critiques:
- Forward-Air feels weird. I think an overhead slash similar to Ike's f-air would be appropriate here, even if it seems derivative.
- Neutral-B and ground Down-B definitely too good. I like the idea of him having some ranged combat ability, but it should be secondary to his close-combat prowess. Please tone his projectiles down some in terms of power, range, speed, etc.
- U-Smash is very interesting; I like the idea here and can see it looking very stylish for countering a predicted dash attack by hopping over it and doing the overhead strike in retaliation.
- D-Smash is unintuitive; if I recall, most d-smashes in Brawl hit forward first, then behind you, but Cloud's seems to go the other way. Is this intentional? It's weird, if nothing else.
Other than that, this is a great character for Brawl and as a fan of Cloud in general, thank you for giving us the chance to play him in a game like this!
